Slow cooked gajjar halwa, boondi laced rabri mousse & a motichoor topper with crushed pistachio & saffron slivers
STORAGE & LIFE
Product needs to be refrigerated upon receipt and consumed within 2 days. Ideally this needs to be taken out of the fridge 20 minutes prior to service and consumed at room temperature. With time, this product might have some water loss around the circumference due to osmosis occuring within the fresh fruit. This is a natural process with fresh fruit desserts and does not need to be worried about.
Chef's Note
This tribute to the rich history of Indian sweets, each element of the Kesari is inspired (and maybe “borrowed”) from the recipe books of different family members of mine. Encased in an almond pastry crust, this tart is created as a labour of our love, a humble dessert from my family to yours!
